Music Therapy consultations
In music therapy sessions we create therapeutic melodies that impact the moments a person experiences outside of the session space.

therapeutic approach & Background
I conduct my music therapy sessions with a person centered approach, paying attention to cultural, familial, and social history and interactions. I assess the needs and desires of the persons I work with to create suitable goals. I enjoy using a variety of music therapy experiences and interventions that help best meet those goals. Some of those include vocal and instrumental improvisation, legacy work, referential songwriting, song discussion, music and imagery relaxation scripts, lyric and music analysis.
Since 2016, I’ve had experience working with several populations including hospice/end of life care, bereavement, older adults, dementia patients, children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and early childhood development. As of January 2023, I completed the certification for Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Music Therapy (NICU-MT) from Florida State University.
